TheHempCo needed to create a brand identity and also wanted a clean, easy to navigate website that reflected the ethos of the brand. It was important to its founder that the design helped to reassure customers that TheHempCo is a quality retailer with years of knowledge and expertise within the CBD/hemp market.
We initially spent time researching the hemp and CBD market and the legalities around how we could market these products. The design team then created three distinctive brand directions based on three different customer profiles. The chosen target audience was active 30-year-olds with young families and a focus on health and wellbeing.
We used soft muted shades of green to enhance the natural feel of the products and create a calming space for customers to explore. We also designed unique hand-drawn icons and speech bubbles to personalise the website and highlight the fact that lots of the products on sale are handmade.
The result was a clean, beautiful, easy to navigate website packed full of blog posts that demystify CBD, and hemp products that help people make informed lifestyle choices.
